Experience the wonderful panorama and the unique layout of the park with its enchanting floral displays

The Kursaal Park forms the cultural centre of Interlaken. The 19th century building, which has been renovated several times over the years, is surrounded by a magnificent flower garden and a much-admired floral clock.

The colourful garden with its shady trees, the remarkable floral clock and the picturesque fountain make the perfect backdrop for a souvenir photo in the heart of Interlaken. The Kursaal Park has been considered the cultural centre of Interlaken since 1859. The beautiful surroundings provide the perfect setting for the Kursaal building.

Located in the heart of Interlaken, the Kursaal is the ideal location for evening events, music concerts and theatre performances. A variety of events, exhibitions, congresses and conferences are held in the wonderful Art Nouveau halls of the congress centre Kursaal Interlaken, whose versatile, historic premises and modern auditorium offer an excellent infrastructure.

Experience pleasure, tradition and the excitement of gaming

The Spycher restaurant adjoins the Kursaal Gardens and brings Swiss traditions to life. It's the place to be spoilt by culinary delights and visit traditional folklore events. Rustic, inviting and deeply rooted. This authentic and cosy atmosphere provides the perfect atmosphere for hosting tour groups, company events or club evenings. It’s only a short walk from the Spycher restaurant through the magnificent Kursaal Park to the gaming excitement on offer in the Casino Interlaken.

Where the Swiss National Day is celebrated

On 1 August, the Swiss National Day, the Kursaal Park is the venue for the traditional aperitif for guests and locals. This popular event includes alphorn playing, yodelling, flag twirling and a strong, local draught beer. Be there when Switzerland next celebrates its anniversary and enjoy the festivities with the locals.

Yash Chopra statue – a little piece of movie history

Amidst the beautiful flowers and shrubs, you’ll find a statue of legendary Indian Bollywood producer Yash Chopra, who was made an honorary citizen of Interlaken in 2011. He shot many of his films in Interlaken and, as a result, many Indian visitors come to discover Interlaken for themselves.
