The PanoramaCard Thunersee is a digital guest card for the Thun/Lake Thun region. On the day they arrive, guests staying in a member establishment of Thun-Thunersee Tourismus are provided with their guest card. The card entitles them to a whole range of discounts. All guests staying at an accommodation around Lake Thun are liable to pay a tax, revenue from which is earmarked for the promotion and creation of services and amenities for visitors. In return, as long as their accommodation provider is a member of Thun-Thunersee Tourismus, guests receive a guest card offering numerous benefits from their very first night in the region.
Yes, every guest receives a personalised PanoramaCard Thunersee. For this reason, the guest card cannot be transferred to another person.
Children aged 6 and above qualify for a PanoramaCard Thunersee. Accompanied children under 16 years of age travel for free on most forms of transport, provided that a valid Junior Card, Grandchild Card or Swiss Family Card is presented.
The guest card is available in the form of a MobileCard, WalletCard or print@home ticket. The guest can easily open the PanoramaCard as a MobileCard on a smartphone, or save it to their personal "Wallet" as a WalletCard if they wish so. It is also possible to print out the ticket on normal paper as a print@home ticket.
With few exceptions, the PanoramaCard Thunersee cannot be combined with a Half-Fare Travelcard, GA Travelcard or Swiss Travel Pass for mountain railway tickets. Possible combinations are shown here.
No, the PanoramaCard Thunersee is not valid for train travel.
Yes, permanent tenants and second homeowners are entitled to use a PanoramaCard designed for long-term tenants. The PanoramaCard Thunersee for permanent tenants is not valid for public transport services. The card is personal and non-transferable. It may only be used by second homeowners who are not registered in the same municipality and who own a main residence elsewhere. You can find more information here.

As a guest, you will receive a PanoramaCard Thunersee directly from your accommodation provider, provided that the establishment is a member of the Thun-Thunersee Tourismus association.
Before your arrival, you will receive an e-mail from your accommodation provider containing full information on the guest card. This e-mail must be sent out by your accommodation host. Your PanoramaCard Thunersee will be attached to the e-mail in the form of a MobileCard, WalletCard or print@home ticket.
In any case, the PanoramaCard Thunersee will be e-mailed to you by the time of your arrival at the latest; otherwise a hard copy will be provided in the form of a print@home ticket.
